About this event
👋 I’m Marlys, a fellow digital nomad who knows firsthand how incredible (and unexpectedly challenging) life on the move can be. We spend months planning (visas, how to do remote work, rentals) but almost no one prepares for the emotional weight after you arrive. Dealing with decision fatigue, identity lag, or feeling like you can't express loneliness because everyone back home thinks you're "living the dream" is very common (you aren’t alone!). You are a smart, ambitious, courageous person who wants more out of life, and having your dream fall short of your expectations or come with feelings you didn’t expect can lead to shame, thinking you are failing, or even giving up on your dreams. I want to help you gain tools for managing these parts of the journey instead of assuming you made a mistake. Come to this workshop and get a taste of: -Fun connections to pop culture, somatic and creative experiences -This workshop is designed to help you better understand what can happen internally during major life transitions and how to reconnect with yourself in the middle of change. -Sometimes the challenge isn't the move itself. It's learning how to live inside the change. -An Experiential Space (Not a Lecture): This is not a traditional webinar where you turn off your camera and listen to a slide deck. We will be using guided music and somatic practices designed to help you shift your internal operating system, process what’s underneath the transition, and reconnect with yourself in real-time. -Bring a journal, a quiet space, and an open mind—I can't wait to share this space with you! Because this session is experiential—combining reflection with music and somatic practices—plan to join from a quiet space where you can focus, participate, and give your nervous system room to settle.
