About

This is not a typical coliving. Nomads in Wonderlands runs one-month chapters where everyone arrives together, leaves together, and spends the month actually becoming a group. Chapter nine lands in Karnataka, India, at a private 150-acre jungle campus with palm trees, banyan trees you can climb, langurs, monkeys, and alligators in the river running through the grounds. It is genuinely wild, and genuinely set up for remote work: stable internet, backup power, ergonomic chairs, and 26 workstations so you can get your job done before the pickleball game. Alex and Camille, who are digital nomads themselves, are on-site the entire month as full-time community managers. They plan 60 to 70 activities so you never have to organise anything yourself: yoga and forest walks before breakfast, masterminds and skill shares, hikes and weekend excursions, a cricket lesson from a local player, a cooking class with the campus kitchen team, a temple ceremony, a Bollywood movie night. Three meals a day are provided by the kitchen team. The rest of the time the campus has a pool, a sauna, aerial yoga, pickleball, and a gym. The group transfer from Goa is included. Fly into Goa airport, spend two nights there for a pre-event on the beach, then travel together into the jungle. You never have to figure out India on your own. That is the whole point.

Work & WiFi

  • WiFi download speed is 150 Mbps, upload is 50 Mbps, with a wired ethernet option also available
  • A second internet provider serves as backup, and a generator covers power outages, so your connection stays up even when the grid goes down
  • The dedicated coworking space has 26 workstations with ergonomic chairs
  • Work desks are included in private rooms
  • Residents can take early or late calls without disturbing others
  • Internet performance is reported as excellent even during peak hours

Community & Social

  • Everyone arrives on the same date and leaves on the same date, which completely changes the group dynamic from day one
  • Alex and Camille are on-site full-time as community managers
  • They plan everything so you do not have to: 60 to 70 activities across the month
  • A typical week includes yoga or a forest walk before breakfast, a mastermind or skill share after lunch, volleyball or pickleball before dinner, and game nights, bonfires, or movie screenings in the evening
  • Weekends are for excursions, hikes, and day trips, all arranged and included
  • Local experiences are woven in: a cricket lesson with a local player, a cooking class with the kitchen team, a temple ceremony, a group market visit, and a Bollywood movie night
  • The group runs between 25 and 40 people, deliberately diverse in background, interests, and profession
  • You do not need to be best friends with everyone
  • All activities are optional
  • Alex describes it as a buffet: pick what excites you, protect your focus time when you need it
  • About 95 percent of previous participants say they want to come back
  • Many do
  • The mix of returning members and new faces is intentional

Comfort & Living

  • The campus has private rooms and shared rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, across several coliving buildings and villas
  • Bed sizes available include single, double, and queen
  • Air conditioning is included in the price; heating is not present but the jungle climate cools naturally in the evenings
  • Weekly room cleaning, fresh linens, and towels are included
  • Three meals per day are provided by the on-site kitchen team, included in the price
  • A fully equipped communal kitchen is available for cooking your own meals
  • The campus has a swimming pool, sauna, gym, aerial yoga space, pickleball court, rooftop, garden and terrace, and a BBQ area
  • Free drinking water, coffee, and tea are provided
  • Laundry, sauna use beyond the included access, and yoga classes are not included in the base price
  • This is a jungle campus, not a five-star resort
  • Rooms are comfortable and well equipped for work, but set your expectations accordingly and you will be pleasantly surprised

Location & Surroundings

  • The campus is a private 150-acre jungle property in Karnataka, India, running from 24 January to 21 February 2027
  • A pre-event in Goa is included: fly into Goa airport, spend two nights on the beach meeting the group, then travel together by road to the jungle campus (roughly four hours)
  • Group transfers from Goa to the campus and back are included in the program
  • The nearest supermarket and town are about a 3-minute distance, reachable on foot, by e-bike, bicycle, or a cheap local rickshaw
  • Public transport in the area is limited; rickshaw drivers are available for local trips and the group uses e-bikes and bikes for town visits
  • The nearest airport (Goa) is approximately two hours by car
  • January and February are dry season in Karnataka: warm during the day, cooler in the evenings, with the forest canopy providing shade
  • On-campus facilities remove the need for a car during the month
  • Food, work, sports, and wellness are all on site
  • India is a challenging destination for solo travellers
  • The private campus is secure, and the group format with Alex and Camille on site means you are never navigating the country alone

Perfect for

Remote workers and digital nomads who want deep community without organising anything themselves. People curious about India but not ready to navigate it solo. Those who have done the nomad life for a while and feel something is missing. Couples are welcome too. The group is typically diverse, aged 21 to 64, with most people working during weekdays and fully present for activities the rest of the time.

Not right for

People who do not need to work and are coming purely as tourists. Anyone who prefers to plan their own schedule and arrange everything independently. People who want a long-term base rather than a fixed one-month chapter. Those who expect five-star resort comfort. Anyone not willing to be a respectful guest in another culture.
