About

Nomio started as a five-star hotel apartment complex on the bay between Tivat and Kotor. When the tourist season ended, the founder, a nomad himself who has lived in six countries, asked why this place should sit empty. The answer became Nomio. What used to be hotel infrastructure is now a full coliving ecosystem: a two-floor Nomio Home with lounge, kitchen, game areas and coworking; a rooftop coworking cafe with views so distracting that residents complain they can't focus; a fully equipped gym, a wellness center with sauna, steam room, red light therapy and massage rooms; and a professional podcast studio anyone can book. The food is affordable, the air comes off the mountains and the sea at the same time, and the eggs come from the neighbour. At the end of the last season, residents were hugging the staff and crying. That is what Nomio is.

Work & WiFi

  • WiFi download speed of 500 Mbps and upload of 120 Mbps, with wired ethernet available
  • 4G/5G hotspot as backup; no issues reported during storms or peak hours
  • Dedicated coworking space with 5 workstations, some ergonomic seating, and a phone booth for calls
  • Rooftop coworking cafe, a separate Nomio Home coworking area, and meeting rooms, giving four distinct work zones
  • Professional podcast studio available for residents to book
  • Power outages are rare; no generator on site

Community & Social

  • Full-time community manager Nida lives on site and is consistently praised by residents
  • Sample activities include winter swimming and sauna sessions, paint-and-laugh evenings, visits to historical ruins, and sushi workshops
  • Regular boat trips, cycling trips, and trekking in the surrounding mountains
  • Music nights, cinema nights, wine and story gatherings by the rooftop fireplace in winter
  • Residents often go grocery shopping together and share meals
  • Community is mixed, long-stay focused, with around 75 percent of guests staying a month or more
  • At the end of the last season, residents left as close friends; six of them are now travelling together
  • The feeling here is that you stop being a guest and start belonging to something real

Comfort & Living

  • 83 private rooms ranging from 25 to 70 square metres, from studios to three-bedroom penthouses
  • All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and heating

  • Communal spaces include a fully equipped kitchen, living lounge, rooftop, garden and terrace, swimming pool, BBQ area, gym, sauna, steam room, and conference room

Perfect for

Remote workers and digital nomads who want more than a desk and a bed. People who care about their health, enjoy being active, and also know how to have fun. Long-stay residents who want to feel at home somewhere genuinely beautiful. Anyone curious about Montenegro who wants to explore the bay, the mountains, and the history without doing it alone.

Not right for

People who need complete silence to focus. Those who rely on public transport, since Montenegro has no real system and a car is genuinely needed. Guests expecting all meals included or hotel-style daily housekeeping. Anyone who prefers short, anonymous stays with no community involvement.
