About
Stefan came to Liddes from the Netherlands eight years ago and just never left. It's that kind of place. Swiss Alps Coliving sits in a tiny mountain village surrounded by the kind of nature that has a natural filter built into it: getting here takes a bit of effort, and that tends to attract exactly the right people. Open-minded, outdoor-curious, healthy-minded folks who want to do real work and then put on boots and head into the mountains. In winter you can ski from early November to late April, with a group season pass for around 90 francs. In summer there's hiking, via ferrata, road cycling, and people training for ultraruns and Ironmans. But you don't need to be an expert at anything. There are always people here who will happily take you along and teach you something new. The vibe is genuinely chill. There are community dinners, AI workshops, movie nights, and weekend hikes. There are also evenings where people just want to sit quietly in the mountains with their own thoughts. Both are fine here. Stefan has a full-time community manager on site and is nearby himself most of the time. People come back every year. That says more than anything else.Video tour

Perfect for
People who love being in nature and want to focus on their work without city distractions. Outdoor enthusiasts of all levels: hikers, cyclists, skiers, climbers. Beginners are welcome too; there are always people ready to teach. Budget-conscious nomads who want an affordable Alpine base with a real community around them. Mostly solo travelers aged 23 to 50, often staying a month or longer.
Not right for
People who need complete silence throughout the entire day. Anyone expecting hotel-level service or polish. Couples looking for a romantic getaway. People who find it hard when temporary friendships end, as leaving after a few weeks can genuinely feel sad. Those who need a city close by or prefer a fast-paced, party-heavy environment.
